Funds you must show

- Statements must be dated within 31 days of submission for most routes.
- Every large deposit needs a traceable source — gift, salary, sale or loan.
- If a sponsor funds you, their statements and relationship proof are required too.
How proof of funds is actually assessed
Case officers do not just look at the closing balance. They look at the shape of the account: whether the money arrived gradually or all at once, whether the deposits match your declared income, and whether the balance dips below the threshold at any point in the holding period. A statement showing a single large transfer three days before submission fails far more often than a smaller balance built up over months.
Every figure above is stored per destination and per visa route with its source and the date we last reviewed it. Rows marked as a regional estimate have no single published figure, so we show the regional norm — always confirm the current amount on the official immigration site before you apply. This is a planning guide, not legal advice.
