Terms of service

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and DocuScore AI ("DocuScore AI", "we", "us"), the provider of the DocuScore AI visa document-readiness service (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a report or otherwise continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You confirm that you are of legal age in your country and, if you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. What the Service is

DocuScore AI analyses the answers and documents you provide and returns an informational readiness score, risk flags and a checklist. It is not legal or immigration advice, and we are not a law firm or a registered migration agent.

We do not guarantee, predict or influence the outcome of any visa application. Decisions are made solely by the relevant immigration authority. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit to us and to any authority.

3. AI-generated output

Parts of the Service use automated and AI-based analysis. Output may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate, and must not be relied on as professional advice without your own verification. You are responsible for reviewing every recommendation before acting on it, and for holding the necessary rights to any content you upload for analysis.

We may filter, restrict or refuse output, and may remove content or suspend accounts where content appears unlawful, fraudulent or infringing. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us via our contact page and we will review it; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

4. Your account and acceptable use

You must provide accurate registration information, keep it up to date, and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to prepare or submit fraudulent or forged documents
• upload documents or personal data belonging to someone else without their permission
• send spam, or attempt fraud, impersonation or misrepresentation
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including malware, probing, scanning, scraping or circumventing usage limits
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its output as a competing product

5. Intellectual property

DocuScore AI owns the Service and all intellectual property in it, including its software, scoring methodology, report templates, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and your own reports for your personal or internal business purposes within the plan you have selected.

You keep ownership of the documents and answers you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service and produce your analysis.

6. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, renewal and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Premium report unlocks are one-time purchases. Pro is a recurring subscription that renews automatically each billing period until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your billing settings, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Maintenance, upstream provider outages and factors outside our control may affect availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. When access ends you can export your reports for a reasonable period before deletion, after which your content may be deleted or anonymised.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or visa refusals, delays or associated travel costs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

10. General

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means acceptance. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
